Hooked Gamers has a preview of Wrath of the Lich King I thought ya'll would enjoy!
In the past, raid dungeons were the most challenging thing a player could do in the game. Part of the challenge was the fact that many required 25 people and some up to 40 people to defeat.

A new feature in Wrath of the Lich King allows you to play the new raid dungeons as either a 25 player fight or a 10 player fight.
It's more of an overall look at what we know so far, and for more of that try visiting our Wrath of the Lich King : What we know thus far thread!

Blizzard has updated their World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King page with exciting info on a new dungeon, The Nexus.

The Nexus War has begun.

The blue Dragon Aspect, Malygos, was charged ages ago by the titans as the guardian of magic. More than ten millennia ago, he watched in horror as Deathwing all but wiped out the blue flight. Maddened by grief, Malygos withdrew to his lair and paid little heed to the rest of the world, emerging only when it finally seemed possible to avenge Deathwing's terrible crime.

For many a World of Warcraft player, this latest expansion from Blizzard for their ginormously successful MMO is the most anticipated one, boasting everything from walrus-men to the fabled Death Knight. While increasing the level cap from 70 to 80, this new expansion also offers players a choice of starting areas, rather than everyone beginning their journeys from the same location, as has been tradition for WoW in the past. Players will also enjoy a vastly increased land mass on which to play, as the areas are so large several of the zones have been split into smaller zones. This is great news, as the expansion provides much more content for adventurers to enjoy in between now and the next expansion (typical MMO player... always looking forward to the next one!). Also, players will enjoy actual climate changes and scenery as they travel through Northrend, going from windswept plains to icy tundra, with everything in between.

I tried to stick as many acronyms in that subject line as I could!  Bornakk had this to say about the situation of item progression with the new expansion.
Players and items will have an increase in their stats/items that goes along with leveling to 80, it will just be a little more consistent when compared to The Burning Crusade. What I mean by this is the way items are working right now will be closer to the new items you get in Wrath of the Lich King and it isn't like you will see an item with double the usual amount of stamina from your first quest.
Our own poster, Jordster, has started a discussion on this in our forums, so join in with your thoughts!
