What Are Free Items?
This page is for the free items that can be obtained from your character profile page, and is not to be confused with Free Item Codes.
Players will occasionally see a yellow box stating that you can get X item free for clicking on it while on their profile page (on the Free Realms official web site). Clicking on this box will load a brief advertisement, and after that is finished, you are able to click the continue button at the bottom. Once you continue, the free item that was listed will be granted to your account!
Some users of Firefox who have the Adblock Plus add-on cannot see these yellow promotional boxes. Here is a work-around, originally posted by TheDeadEyes on the official forums:
Ok, anyone who uses Firefox and Adblock, add this to your 'Filter Rules':
@@|http://www.freerealms.com
That will let you see the yellow free item box on your profile.
It is still unclear whether or not these items are limited to accounts registered with the United States listed as their country or not. We have heard reports that some international players have been able to use a work-around to see the items, while others have stated that no work-around is needed. Once we find out for certain, we will update this section.
