Counter

Obtained at level 10.
Provides a chance for the character to cancel the enemies attack and instantly counterattack with the main-hand weapon.
Counter is only active with weapons drawn.
Only attacks launched from in front of the character can be countered.
Attacks from all enemies can be countered, not just the character's current target.
Attacks can not be countered if the character is asleep, stunned, terrorized, or petrified.
Counterattacks can hit critically, though the combat log will not show such hits at criticals.
Additional effects that fire on melee hits, such as Enfire or Double Attack, can not fire on counters.
Ranged attacks cannot be countered.
TP Attacks and spells cannot be countered.
Counterattacks cannot themselves be countered.
