2009

Changes with the October 21 Hotfix

• Altius Volfban in the Hollow Hedge should be much easier for mage classes to handle.
• The Headless Horseman now spawns somewhere near his tree instead of just in the same spot every time. He also requires someone offer him the necklace instead of simply taking the necklace near him to activate. His respawn has also been lengthened slightly.
• The Nightmarish Ceremonial Armor has gotten a slight change to color.
• The Nightmarish Ceremonial armor should now all have an equal chance of dropping.
• Altius Volfban now has a chance to drop a piece of the Nightmarish armor when killed.
• The Blanket of Fog now comes with a remote so you can turn them on and off. In the off state it should be much easier to tell where they are!

Quests

• Altius Volfban at Port Naythex in Nektulos Forest has A Nightmarish Illness, and is too weak now to continue his search for a cure. Someone should help him... (This is the first quest involving the new instance, The Hollow Hedge).
• New rewards added to some quests of years past.

Encounters

• The Headless Horseman (Epic x2) has been seen in Nektulos Forest, possibly at the big dead tree that appeared at -1436, 28, -1172 near the Shard of Hate portal.

Goodies

• New costume illusions, available from a Nights of the Dead merchant.
• Some slight new additions have been added to some of the older NotD events.
• A place of haunting now holds the infamous book, Destroy All Vampires!.
• Fun new house items to perfect your own haunted home: a blanket of fog and screeching noise box.

Collections

• A new collection: The Hollow Hedge Collection.

Crafting

• NotD Crafting Preview at EQII Traders Corner! NotD crafting is like last Erollisi Day - dropped seasonal items serve as materials for spooky crafted goodness!
• Crafting resources are dropped from spooky-type creatures, even grey ones.
• Recipes are available in Maj'Dul or in your city's major crafting area.

Miscellaneous

• a Gigglegibber Illusionist will give you an illusion/costume!
